Extended Provision

There are a wide range of extracurricular activities outside school hours which cater for a wide range of interests. 


Summer Term Clubs 2022/2023


Breakfast Club

Breakfast club is open to all Davies Lane pupils, apart from nursery age, and runs from 7.45am - 8.45am, Monday to Friday. The charge is £2 per child, per day and £3 per child, per day for 4 year old children in Reception. Children are able to enjoy a healthy breakfast with both hot and cold options, and can take part in activities such as reading, drawing and board games whilst in a safe environment.

Tea Time Club

 The after-school club provides childcare between the hours of 3.15pm - 6pm

 

Children enjoy a variety of activities put on by our play workers and are also given a light meal, both hot or cold options, which is included in the price. A copy of the menu can be collected from the school office.

Please note that children who are not collected on time at the end of the school day will be taken to the after school club and parents will be charged £5 for the the first half hour and full rate (£9:00) for collections after 4:00pm.

 

If you are a parent with a child in breakfast or after-school club and need to contact the school outside of the school hours, please use our out of hours contact number on: 07585261536. This number is available when our school office is closed between 7:45am - 8:00am and between 4:30pm - 6:00pm.


After School Clubs

We have a wide range of after school clubs, including arts, sports, music and languages. Our clubs are open to all year groups apart from nursery. Letters are sent at the start of the term for children to sign up to the clubs. Children will receive a slip to say if they have been allocated a space in the club. Those who are not succesful will be placed on a waiting list and will be prioritsed at teh start of the next term.


Holiday Clubs

We run holiday clubs during every school holiday apart from the Christmas break. Our most recent clubs have been hosted by Davies Lane staff from 9am – 3.15pm. Letters are available for parents to sign children up for the full weeks where children will be able to enjoy arts and crafts, dance and sports activities and where possible, trips to local places such as parks and the cinema. 


Music

Music provision for piano, flute, guitar, violin and clarinet lessons, led by peripatetic teachers, take place during the school day for a nominal charge.
